Kitty of Doom

Ok, one of my cats just stole a toy from Vivre. I have to admit I laughed myself silly. OMG! it just happened again. Vivre has this long tennis covered kong toy. Orrick just went after Vivre with claws then when she darted away he grabbed the toy and started playing with it. I love my cats.

Snow!

There has been a mistake! Denise gave me a dog that likes the snow. WTF? ;-)

It snowed last night. Well kind of. We got about an inch. I wasn't sure how Vivre would deal with snow because she didn't like rain as a puppy. She loved it! She just darts her head down and grabs a mouth full of snow on the run. Any way there are a few pics on flickr. The snow is just about all melted by now, but she had a blast this morning. I don't know if the flickr thingy in the side bar is working or not, but the link is there.

Progress

She is finally starting to get the verbal down cue. I tend to teach signals first since it is just easier for both me and the dog. When I started to introduce the verbal cue she just didn't get it. I have been using it for weeks and she finally clicked tonight. She isn't solid on the cue yet of course, but she actually downed on the verbal.

Now I guess I need to introduce a verbal sit. It would be so much nicer if I could just stick with signals. Oh well. I'll get over it.
